The Edinburg Vela SaberCats will host the Region IV-6A DII area-round clash versus San Antonio Taft in the Texas High School Football Championships.

Kickoff for the gridiron matchup is 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Richard R. Flores Stadium in Edinburg.

The SaberCats come into the contest undefeated 11-0 with a top ranked offense and defense, and will try to keep their home field and advance to the regional quarterfinals.
