Ground Breaks on $22.6M Guerlain Plaza, Paving the Way for Edinburg’s New Entertainment District

Edinburg, TX – The Edinburg Economic Development Corporation and Los Lagos Development have officially broken ground on Guerlain Plaza, a $22.6 million mixed-use project set to rise near UTRGV’s Vackar Stadium. The new development will bring together retail, dining, multifamily housing, and EV charging stations, marking a major step forward in Edinburg’s plan to create a vibrant entertainment district. Once complete, Guerlain Plaza is expected to generate approximately 180 new jobs and further fuel the city’s growth and innovation.
